By accessing this website you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use We Are Calculator if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. License and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, We Are Calculator and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on wearecalculator.com, including calculator code, written guides, and design. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions below. You must not republish, sell, rent, or sub-license material from the site, or reproduce or copy our content for commercial purposes without written permission. Our full Copyright & Content Use Policy sets out exactly what is permitted, the terms of the calculator embed licence, and how to report or respond to infringement.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of its availability, or in any way which is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful. Automated scraping of our content at scale is prohibited.

4. No Financial Advice

All calculators, guides, and other content are provided for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Results depend on the assumptions you enter and simplifications inherent in any model. See our Disclaimer for details.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We Are Calculator shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the tools and information on this site. Financial decisions should always be verified with a qualified professional.

6. External Links

Our guides link to external sources (government agencies, regulators, research). We are not responsible for the content or availability of external sites.

7. Business Accounts (We Are Calculator for Business)

These additional terms apply if you create a business account at wearecalculator.com/for-business or embed our calculators on a website. If they conflict with the rest of these terms, these additional terms apply to your business account.

  • Who can sign up: you must be at least 18, be authorized to act for the business, and give accurate information.
  • Free plan and changes: the Free plan currently includes one active calculator, one website, and 10 leads per month. Paid plans are not yet available. We may change or withdraw plans, limits, or features. You will not be charged for anything unless you choose a paid plan, and we will give reasonable notice before plans or pricing change in a way that affects you.
  • Licence to embed: while your account is active and in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display the calculators you have enabled on the website(s) you have registered. You may not embed them anywhere else, resell or sublicense them, present them as your own product, or copy or scrape them. Your own logo, colors, and business name remain yours.
  • Your use of leads: you are responsible for how you use the information visitors submit through your embed. You must follow applicable privacy, email, and marketing laws (including getting any consent you need before sending marketing messages), provide your own privacy notice on your website, and handle visitors' requests about their information. We process that information on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • No advice: our calculators give estimates for information only. You must not present results as personalized financial, tax, or legal advice, or as guaranteed, and you should use the disclaimer field in your dashboard to give visitors any notices your profession requires.
  • Acceptable use: do not use the service unlawfully, misleadingly, or harmfully, and do not try to get around plan limits (including by deleting and re-creating accounts), domain restrictions, or security measures.
  • Delivery of leads: your dashboard is the authoritative record of leads. Emails, webhooks, and HubSpot transfers are sent on a best-effort basis and can fail or be delayed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Suspension and deletion: we may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or abuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently deletes your leads and settings; the Privacy Policy explains the limited record we keep.

8. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time; the version published on this page applies. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
